Regions/UUPGs: Thank You for the man in Zaghouan who is reading the Bible. He has many questions. May he find all of the questions answered in Christ.

Petition from a Tunisian Believer: I am from Tunis and have been a Christian for six months. I have been persecuted by the people closest to me. My mother was in an accident. Please pray that God would heal her and use this miracle to bring my family to Him.

Pray Hebrews 11 for Tunisia: “By faith the people crossed the Red Sea as on dry land, but the Egyptians, when they attempted to do the same, were drowned.” (Hebrews 11:29) We pray for God’s miraculous works recorded in the Bible to stir believers in Tunisia to live by faith in ever-increasing measure.

Petition Against Spiritual Barriers: Prostitution is a problem in Tunisia. Men and women do not realize that their bodies are temples! Before the time of Islam in Tunisia, many native Berbers did not value the sexual union between a man and wife. When Islam came, Islam allowed for temporary religious sexual contracts. Though Tunisia outlawed the Islamic practice of a man taking four wives, many men still have relationships with several women because the Koran allows for it. Pray that Tunisians would see their bodies as a living sacrifice. Pray for Christians who engaged in prostitution in the past. Pray that God will redeem them and transform their lives! Galatians 6:19-20 says, “Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.” 

Praise the One True God: The LORD alone is Revealer. You reveal your power and authority over the heavens, the earth, and all the nations. (Joshua 2:10-11) “For we have heard how the Lord dried up the water of the Red Sea before you when you came out of Egypt, and what you did to the two kings of the Amorites who were beyond the Jordan, to Sihon and Og, whom you devoted to destruction. And as soon as we heard it, our hearts melted, and there was no spirit left in any man because of you, for the Lord your God, he is God in the heavens above and on the earth beneath.“
