May 14th Prayer

Praise: “Clap your hands, all [Tunisian] peoples! Shout to God with loud songs of joy!” (Psalm 47:1)

Petition from a Tunisian Believer: My name is B, and I am from just outside of Tunis. I have been a Christian for two months. I am from a Muslim extremist family. My father physically severely abused me ever since I was a child. He cursed at me and beat me brutally. When I became a Christian, I forgave my father but there is still much hurt from the past. I feel that my father broke my spirit. Pray that I will be free and be able to leave my family and have a job. I do not have freedom to read the Bible in the house. There are six of us who live in a small house, and I feel very stressed. Jesus is the sweetest thing in my life. I want to be bold and talk with my family about Jesus. Pray that I will have freedom from the pain of my childhood. I want to talk with my friends about Jesus, but they are all very devout Muslims and don’t understand me.

Pray the Book of Acts: Paul was told by Ananias, “for you will be a witness for him to everyone of what you have seen and heard.” (Acts 22:15) We pray for every believer in Tunisia to be equipped to share their story (testimony) and Your story (the Gospel). We pray that every time the Gospel is shared in Tunisia that it would be the overflow of the speaker’s experience with You, the living God.

Petition from a Tunisian Believer: My name is S. I am a new Christian. I am engaged and will graduate from the university this year. I have pain in my head and dizziness. I pray for healing and renewing of my soul and body. I pray that I will be reconciled with people who have hurt me and that I can forgive them.

Praise the Name of God: We praise You, the Wise God (Proverbs 3:19-20). You established the heavens and Your timing is perfect for Kingdom breakthrough in Tunisia.
